Insurance & Payment
Clear information on how services are billed and what to expect.
Licensing & Service Availability
I am a licensed clinical social worker in Nevada and California and provide telehealth services to clients located in those states.
Insurance Acceptance
General Mental Health Therapy
Nevada Clients
I am in-network with the following insurance plans through Alma:
United Healthcare
Aetna
Cigna
Blue Cross Blue Shield
Limited UMR plans
California Clients
I do not accept insurance for California clients. All services are private pay.
OCD Treatment Program
Please Note: Insurance is accepted only for standard therapy sessions when medically appropriate. Structured OCD treatment levels (packages) are available through private pay only.
Why is the OCD Program Private Pay?
Insurance companies require services to be billed as individual sessions based on "medical necessity." Because my Enhanced Outpatient Treatment Program involves higher-frequency sessions and bundled support (like coaching and groups), it does not fit the standard insurance billing model.
Insurance Limitations
Insurance may deny authorization for multiple sessions per week or require strict clinical review.
Private Pay Flexibility
Private pay allows us to schedule higher-frequency ERP sessions and comprehensive support based entirely on your clinical need, without insurance restrictions.
Private Pay Rates
For clients in California, or those in Nevada preferring not to use insurance:
Individual Therapy
$150
per 60 min
Individual ERP Session
$150
per 60 min
OCD Evaluation
$300
2 hours
For structured OCD program rates, please visit the OCD Services Page.
Good Faith Estimate Notice
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.
